CHALLENGE 1 : Selecting the right plants.
SOLUTION : There was huge variety of plants available with the supplier. So to arrive at proper selection of plants we conducted a research within our school to identify the most demanded plants.
CHALLENGE 2 : Unable to answer the technical questions of the customers.
SOLUTION : Since the selling department was not in direct contact with the supplier they did not have the technical knowledge about the variety and types of plants. So to update the selling team with technical knowledge our purchase team briefed up the selling team with the varieties, breeds and benefits of plants after every purchase. This helped the selling team in answering to the customer's questions.
CHALLENGE 3 : Confusion with respect to availability of number of plants.
SOLUTION : To avoid the confusion regarding the availability of plants we made separate counters for sale and delivery of plants. We also introduced the coupon system which helped to streamline the entire process.
